First "Zootopia 2" Teaser Trailer Debuts
"Zootopia 2" hits theaters on November 26th, 2025.
It’s almost time to go on another epic adventure with Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde — and Disney Animation Studios has released the first trailer for Zootopia 2.

- The first teaser trailer for Disney’s Zootopia 2 has arrived.
- True to the “teaser" moniker, the new look doesn’t really feature any dialogue and is instead more of an instrumental music video than anything.
- Announced on X by Disney Animation, fans are about to get their first look at Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they head out on another sloth-filled, I mean sleuth-filled adventure this November.
- In a new poster, the two main characters are seen wrapped together by Gary, a venomous snake and target of the pair's latest case.
- Gary is voiced by Academy Award winner Ke Huy Quan.
- Not a lot of information is known about what the upcoming sequel’s plot will entail, but we do know Judy and Nick’s case will lead them to Marsh Market, a semi-aquatic district of Zootopia audiences have yet to explore. Their adventures will lead to meeting unique characters and hidden secrets.
- Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman are reprising their roles as Judy and Nick, respectively.
- Shakira is also set to return as popstar Gazelle.
- New characters include Nibbles the beaver, played by Fortune Feimster, and Quokka therapist Dr. Fuzzby, voiced by Quinta Brunson.
- 2016’s Zootopia took the world by storm, grossing over a billion dollars at the box office. The film’s bold themes about systemic racism and prejudice continue to be incredibly important in today’s world, and hopefully the sequel arrives with a similarly powerful message.
- The trailer is set to drop at 9AM PT tomorrow, May 20th.
