Special Effects Made for a Titan: Check Out a First Look at the Puppets of Disney Destiny's "Hercules"
The show is set to debut aboard the new Disney Cruise Line ship on November 20th.
Ahead of its November debut, Disney has shared a preview of the incredible God-like puppets coming to the Disney Destiny’s production of Hercules.
UPDATE 7/28/2025
- As part of the log for the Disney Destiny marking the progress of the ship as it nears completion ahead of its maiden voyage in November, we are getting another rendering of the puppets of the Hercules-based stage show featured in the video below.
- The update also reveals that the cast of the new production, based on the 1997 animated classic, Hercules, has been working and rehearsing at Disney Cruise Line’s entertainment facility in Toronto. It’s at this location that all stage shows, deck parties, and anything live entertainment for the ship is brought to life long before being performed on the ships of the fleet.
- The art depicts Hercules in a climactic battle with the Titans, something also hinted at in the videos below.
- For Disney Destiny, the shows will include the new Hercules stage show exclusive to the new ship, as well as Disney Seas the Adventure (currently on other Wish class ships), and Frozen: A Musical Spectacular (currently on Disney Fantasy and Disney Wonder).

- Disney Parks has shared a first look at some of the incredible puppets that will be seen on the Disney Destiny’s upcoming production of Hercules.
- In an approximately 45 second clip shared to TikTok, fans got a chance to see the massive Ice and Rock Titans from the hit movie as they will appear on stage.
- Using the incredible innovations of Walt Disney Imagineering, Disney Cruise Line is bringing these larger-than-life characters to the stage like never been before.
- The large puppets will have performers inside of them to control the movements.
- Disney’s Hercules is set to debut on Disney Destiny’s maiden voyage on November 20th out of Fort Lauderdale, FL.
