runDisney Reveals Delay in Registration Process for 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend

Runners woke up to register for the upcoming 2027 runDisney Disney Princess Half Marathon event in 2027, but new updates reveal that the general public registration of the event has been delayed.

UPDATE: 6/3/2026 – 4:10 PM ET:

• runDisney has now shared the updated date for general registration, which will now begin on Monday, June 8 at 10 a.m. ET, so set your clocks and get ready to start training for February!

UPDATE: 6/3/2026 – 8:30 AM ET:

• As promised, we got our update last night giving a bit of insight, but also being promised another update later today.
• Posts on runDisney socials alert those who want to register for the 2027 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend that there is still no new date planned, with a promise that they will announce the new date at least 24 hours before the registration goes live.
• Their update reads: "To our runDisney family, we know today didn’t go as planned, and we appreciate everyone who has been waiting with us. We are still working to finalize a new registration date and time for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. You may notice some changes on the website this evening, but registration has not started. We want to reassure everyone that we will communicate the new date and time at least 24 hours before registration opens. We don’t have those details to share just yet, and registration won't take place this week. We’ll share another update by 8:00 PM ET tomorrow evening on runDisney social accounts. We appreciate your patience and continued excitement for race weekend."

What's Happening:

• Devotees may recall that registration for the 2027 runDisney Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend was slated to open to the general public today, June 2, 2026.
• Unfortunately, that was not the case, as runDisney has shared on social media that registration will not be taking place today.
• While runDisney acknowledged that there are plenty of participants eager to register today and apologized for the delay, they gave no reason or explanation for the delay.
• runDisney also plans to share an update on their social accounts by 8:00 PM ET today, June 2, 2026.

• From February 25 - March 1 at Walt Disney World, runDisney participants can embark on several races built for royalty.
• Join Tiana for a dreamy 5K and let the good times roll, run through a fairy tale-inspired 10K featuring Snow White, and chase new horizons in a half marathon hosted by Jasmine.
• Participants can also take on Ariel’s challenge by completing both the 10K and half marathon.
