Disney Partnering with Breaking Bad Creator on Jack and the Beanstalk Film

Disney is partnering with Vince Gilligan, the creator of AMC's Breaking Bad, on an adaptation of Jack and the Beanstalk entitled Beanstalk.

The story treatment was written by Gilligan while the project will be written by Thomas Schnauz.

As negotiations for the deal are ongoing, no release date was given.
