BIG THUNDER RETURNS -- Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopens to guests at Disneyland park on March 17, 2014, with some new surprises and all the favorite dips and turns of this classic attraction. The 'wildest ride in the wilderness' has been fully refurbished with an upgraded track, new paint on portions of the mountain, a restoration of the historic Rainbow Ridge Mining Town, enhanced audio and updates to the ride vehicles.
