Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party Returns to the Disneyland Resort Alongside D23 Day at Disneyland in August

Disneyland Resort just dropped a bunch of information about what guests can expect for D23 Day at Disneyland, including great stuff for the youngest guests.

What's Happening:

• Alongside D23 Day at Disneyland on August 13, Disney California Adventure will host the return of the Disney Jr. Let’s Play! Party.
• All park guests, including preschoolers and their families, are welcomed to enjoy live entertainment, meet fan-favorite Disney Jr. characters, and more!
• Hollywood Land at Disney California Adventure will feature a variety of Disney Jr. experiences for families during the celebration.
• The Backlot Stage will play host to "Disney Jr. Let's Play! Live" where kids will be able to dance with Mickey and Friends.
• Sofia the First will debut a new look inspired by Sofia the First: Royal Magic, while Spidey and other Disney Jr. characters will make special, limited-time appearances.
• Children ages 3-11 can decorate cupcakes alongside the heroes of SuperKitties during "Confection Purrfection with the SuperKitties." Space is limited, with sign-ups beginning 45 minutes before each performance.

• A Disney Jr. Let's Play Craft Zone will also be available where kids can learn to draw at the Animation Academy and can decorate cupcakes with the Superkitties and the Hollywood Backlot Stage
• Guests visiting Animation Academy can learn to draw Pepper, Sofia's puppy-unicorn companion from Sofia the First: Royal Magic, along with other Disney Jr. characters.
• A Disney Jr.-themed photo booth in Hollywood Land will offer souvenir photo strips for an additional fee, while themed photo locations throughout the area provide more picture opportunities.
• Disney Jr. merchandise will also be available for purchase at Studio Store and Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure.
• The Disney Jr. Let's Play! Block Party will begin at 10:30 a.m. in Hollywood Land, where Mickey, Minnie, and other Disney Jr. characters will be on hand for a "high energy celebration."

The Fun Continues in Downtown Disney:

• From August 14-16, the Disney Jr. Let's Play! Party continues at Downtown Disney with family-friendly entertainment and activities throughout the weekend.
• The Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage and Lawn will host live performances, interactive experiences and activities for guests of all ages.
• Families can dance along during DJ dance parties and enjoy The Bubbles Experience presented by Disney Jr.
• Kids can get creative with hands-on activities at the Disney Jr. Let's Play! Craft Zone near the Downtown Disney LIVE! Stage.
• Guests can also capture the celebration at themed Disney Jr. photo locations set up throughout Downtown Disney.
